
ABOUT WDC
Women Development Cell (WDC), Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya
The Women Development Cell (WDC) of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV) was established in 2012 with the following vision and mission:
Vision: To provide opportunities for the holistic development of women.
Mission: To empower women by imparting education and essential life skills, enabling their active integration into society.

Since its inception, the Women Development Cell has been dedicated to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment across all constituent institutes of the university.
The WDC aims to create awareness among young women about their rights, opportunities, and responsibilities in academic, professional, and social spheres. It provides a platform for female students and staff to express themselves freely, develop leadership qualities, and enhance their confidence and self-reliance.
The Cell organizes a wide range of activities, including expert lectures, workshops, health awareness programs, life skills sessions, cultural events, and exhibitions focused on women’s issues and holistic development. Through these initiatives, the WDC nurtures the spirit of equality, independence, and respect for womanhood, contributing to the overall empowerment and progress of women within the university community.
